Cutting Cords with Archangel Michael~I often teach this exercise ..

When we interact with people we create etheric cords which connect us to that person. These can look physically like rubber tubes and they allow the energy to flow, which can be loving, healing energy or it can be toxic and draining.

Very often when we get caught up in toxic relationships these cords become stuck to us and affect our energy levels. We can hold on to memories from the past not realizing the damage they can be causing our mind and body. This exercise can help release us from negativity.

Close your eyes and take a few deep, relaxing breaths and centre yourself. Bring your awareness to the issue which you feel you would like to cut the cords with and which you would like to receive healing with.

Ask Archangel Michael to enter the space .Feel his strong, loving, protecting presence around you getting ready to help you.

Ask him to take his big, powerful sword and cut the cords which have bound you and caused you despair .Removing the connection to the events, people or unresolved issues form the past which you wish to remove from your aura. There may be a few cords or many. Just ask Archangel Michael to remove everything which no longer serves a purpose in your life and that this will be for the highest good of all concerned.

Please now ask Archangel Raphael to come forward and heal the ends of the cords so that you are healed and complete again and to also heal the cords which have been removed for their highest good. This exercise may have to be repeated a few times.

A Sacred Marriage (or equivalent romantic relationship) has varied definitions.

This is how I describe it-to put into the order ..

1. In a Sacred Marriage, both partners are in love with themselves before they fall in love with each other. Or, they learn to love themselves as they journey together. There is no question of one partner completing the other with their love. Both partners are whole and complete in themselves, and this whole and complete love is shared and enjoyed.

2. The energy of ex-romantic partners (if any) is cleared, so it doesn’t interfere with the energy dynamics between the couple. When the energy of exes lingers in the energy field, it blocks a couple from achieving their highest potential together. When old energy is cleared, the field is clear for new possibilities to take birth.

3. The primary focus of a Sacred Marriage remains on love. When love is first priority, differences don’t feel like a big deal anymore. Partners may even grow to love one another’s differences. They recognise the strength their differences bring to the relationship.

4. The longer couples are together, the more each partner gets to see the good, bad, and ugly in the other partner. However, since love seals the relationship, the relationship remains alive even after the passing of the honeymoon phase- when we feel so intoxicated, we notice only the good! It is possible to sustain that feeling of intoxication provided one is willing to vibrate at the higher frequency of unconditional love! Don’t worry if your partner doesn’t understand this kind of stuff. Just do your part. And be open to learning from your partner too. 

To be honest, though I am the energy healer here, somebody else who demonstrated the true meaning of unconditional love to me. He didn’t worry if I would ever get it! He just loved for the sake of love.

Over years, I learnt from who I was and the capacity to love unconditionally was awakened within me too. So, all you have to do is work on yourself and not worry about whether your partner is working as hard as you or not.

Remember, your soul has picked a specific person to be your partner for a reason. Honour your soul’s choice without comparing yourself to other couples. You are exactly where you are meant to be. And when you do your inner work, the Universe pitches in to support you in every way possible.

"You don't have to" open up "to anyone you don't want to open up to.

You don't need to be emotionally "sensitive" now or ever.

You don't need to offer your sensitivity to strangers on the street, people you just met, friends, family members, on social media, or to appear open or spiritual or "pure, real and genuine."

You never, ever need to share what you do not feel ready or willing to share.

Let us not make sensitivity a new dogma, a new religion, or some other "duty."

You are allowed to have strong, protective boundaries around your weakness. You can protect your precious, fragile, sensitive heart, your deepest, most private and secret feelings, longings, thoughts and fears until you are ready, willing or safe enough to share them.

You can keep your sensitivity to those with whom you don't feel safe, those who don't want or cope with your precious heart, those who have turned out to be untrustworthy, and those who judge or embarrass you for not You "open up" to their schedule or the way they request.

Your boundaries around your sensitivity don't make you weak, scared or undeveloped.

Sometimes saying NO to share your sensitivity with someone is an act of tremendous courage (just as sometimes sharing your sensitivity is an act of tremendous courage).

You can choose who you will be sensitive to

and fragile and open with whom, when, why and how, and you can choose how much of yourself you reveal at each moment. You can draw these lines and redraw them. You can share more if you feel like it, or change your mind, or share less, or nothing personal or intimate.

Others may be disappointed, frustrated, angry or sad and may want more sensitivity from you.

And yet you don't need to share any more than what you feel comfortable with. It is your right and it is your power.

Your sensitivity is a sacred gift and you only give it when you are ready and willing, not a moment sooner.

The amount of people that think owning/running a business is easy and that you should be 'loaded' because you own your own business !!!!

Or that it’s just a hobby and not turning up for an appointment is no big deal 🤷🏻‍♀️

Running a business is really hard. It can be very rewarding but also very challenging and can come with a lot of pressure.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people trying to earn a living with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!
